Production Log

Day 1


We have just begun filming and have finished the first scene of our sequence. It should be an approximation of 30-45 seconds. It was filmed outside with all three of us sitting around a table discussing some ideas. A voiceover will take place during this scene.

Day 2

We have just finished filming Rahil and Tarek earning detentions as part of the plot. It was a little tricky to do this as many teachers were extremely busy, but we persisted and got through it in the end. We also did a very long tracking shot through the school corridors whilst explaining the plot. It took very long to perfect.

Day 3

Surprisingly we have just finished all filming in one night as the whole conclusion of the sequence took place in the evening. it took us approximately 5 and a half hours to do and we were exhausted at the end of it. We took roughly an hour just doing the first night time tracking shot as this was very difficult and took lots of training. Again teachers were scarce and it was difficult to find anyone on such short notice, fortunately we found one teacher and compromised. The final scene was very difficult to do as there were not many options to run out of the school but we had help from the security gaurds who were very helpful and helped in the final product. All we can say is that it was worth it and now that we have finished we can move onto editing.
